I am having a great time with options spreads. Since joining PW in march (09) my bank is up a little over 50% which is a far better return than I had trading on my own, even during the 'good times'.

Johnny is a great Teacher and the room has been the best investment I have made towards my trading career.

I have been a member of the trading room from when it first started. I can tell you that Johnny Howell wants us all to succeed. He goes the extra mile and puts in extra support session in his own time to help us succeed. He teaches how to cut our losses short and keep our profits running. Fridays trade was my first live (E-mini) trade and I was very nervous, why? John and Planet Wealth thank you for this unique forum - the live Trading Room. The biggest single benefit of being a part of this room is learning and practising the discipline required to act on the identified trades. The most recent example, STO was very successful. I entered a short trade on 3rd July at 19.76 and exited on 8th July at 18.98, a profit of .78c per position. A great result, thanks John. I am also finding the interaction with other room dwellers fun and informal but there also exists a common thread of determination to succeed and enjoy the success of others in the room. I feel it's a real team effort and nobody wants to leave anybody floundering. I can see the possibility of everybody participating being on their way to financial freedom in the not too distant future.

I am the Old OX from Canterbury and I don't very often get excited. But even I find it difficult not to get excited when I put into practice what I am learning in the trading room and the results are so good.
Turned a CFD trade using the technicals for the entry into a nice little $1200 Profit which goes a long way to off setting the losses I was experiencing with my previous lack of knowledge.
I really look forward to getting as much knowledge as I can from John in the trading room. His Coaching methods have really hit the mark with me as I am not the fastest learner in the class.
So at last coaching and rewards to get excited about. If you are into Charts and technicals don,t hold back jump on board and learn how to cut your losses short and let your profits run.

My name is Paul and I'd like to express my appreciation toward John and Planet Wealth for providing us with such a great resource that is the trading room.

On the 3/7/2008 John identified an entry signal on Santos that we had all been watching and patiently waiting for. Using his approach of massively stacking the odds in our favour using simple yet powerful technical analysis, we were happy to take the trade. I purchased $18.00 Aug put options for .73 cents when Santos was at $20.10 a share and on the 9/7/2008 after dropping through the pre-established exit signal of $18.50 to $18.35 I sold my Aug put options for $1.22. This trade resulted in a 60% return on investment and my single best percentage return achieved on a trade. The trading room has helped me immensely with my trading discipline and shown me the undeniable value of planning your trades and trading your plans. I am extremely grateful for all of Johns help and support, he is helping me to realise my goal of trading as a sole source of income and eventually trading my way to financial freedom.

Hi everyone

God I love this forum! My goal was to consistently make $3K a month then increase to $5K a month by the end of this year and $10K a month by the end of next year. I told my husband he can retire from his job when I make $10K a month for 6 months in a row (averaged). Well, I did $9K this month (and only used 3/4 of my trading funds) so he might have to leave his job earlier than planned. I've now doubled my goals - $10K/month by the end of this year & $20K/month by the end of next year.

I've managed to do this by working hard, having a solid money management and trading plan BUT above all by reading the posts in this forum and learning from other people - particularly JULES and TOM (where are you these days Tom?) I've made heaps of mistakes and no doubt will continue to do so but I have the confidence now to analyse and learn from them.

The wisdom and strength I get from this forum is just priceless. Thank you all.

Before joining the trading room my wife and I decided that we needed to make 8k a month for us to achieve the goal of both of us not working so we can spend time together as a family with our new daughter and maintain the lifestyle we have. I am pleased to announce that after being in the trading room since 4/7/08 we have achieved this goal for our first month!!. I know it is only 1 month but it is a great start, we have actually made close to 10k but once we minus the fees etc it brings us down to 8k!! How good is this room.... Rob has been trading carefully and at a lot slower rate than if he had the whole 3000+ stocks to play with.

What really gets me excited is looking at his 3 month killing last year. It shows the amazing speed at which we can accumulate money. I'd have all my money back (that was lost prior to Rob) in around 3-4 months if Rob was at full speed - wicked!

Anyway, whatever, the man is just friggin' awesome! It would be good to meet him one day.

I keep pretty good records of my account. I started trading on Sept 18 with about US$10,000 trading 1 contract. So far I have worked out taking into consideration commissions and trading diary fees to be in profit of about *160% pa *. Profit/Loss ratio of 70:30.

This doesn't really take into consideration of the "bad" month. I don't think you can argue with 160% return.

For anyone watching this i can highly recommend joining the (E-mini Trading) room. Johnny is an amazing teacher and you will learn his method of analyzing the carts of different markets, stocks etc. Not just Eminis. Not to mention lessons on psychology. I started 4 months ago with $18,000 with a pie of 6 trades each risking $3,000. The profit in this 4 month period has been impressive so I have adjusted my strategy to a pie of 4 trades each risking $6,000 + plenty of cash in bank to accommodate losses should they occur. I plan to review the pie size every 3-4 months with a view to increasing the pie size commensurate with results.

Hi to all this is to testify how good the trading room can be. I have bought 10 prepaid sessions for the trading room and it cost me about $450.This was done on the 1/7/08. By studying the homestudy and doing 2 sessions I have been able to achieve a 130% return on a single trade , and it has only taken me 8days. The trade was placed on 4/7/08 and cashed in today through the help of John and fellow students of the trading room.I am over the moon and feel great but not because of the profit, but because of the knowledge.I highly recommend the trading room, yee hah

Since we've come to appreciate (John Howell's) 70%-80% win to loss ratio, we decided to scrimp, scrape, beg, steel & borrow to "up" our trading bank as much as we possibly could whilst adhering to the Planet Wealth risk strategy outlined by Andrew in the Option Spreads E Book.

However since we are still "Newbies" to the trading scene, & while we understand & fully appreciate your "checklist" in needing to "tick all the boxes" before placing a trade, it is not second nature for us yet! This will take some time I guess.

For those looking to put any faith in Johnny's thorough "check list", the proof is in the pudding. We particularly enjoyed taking Friday 24th to Thursday 30th April (2209) profit of 57.13%. A profit of $3326 in 4 days (beats any day job we have ever had, with out having to leave the house).

We have learnt a huge amount since being in the Trading Room/Advanced Trading Room and home studies in the past 6 weeks & would recommend it to anyone serious about learning how to read analysis & make trades!

I'm (and I'm sure many others are and the rest should be!) extremely grateful for the opportunity you've provided for us to learn how to become financially independent, whilst also earning while we learn.

Gave up my job, joined PW in June 07 and began my education in Investing. Set up A/T in August and did my first SPP in October 07. Had no idea what the market was going to do then, or now!

We're now in December 07 and I balanced out my accounts today. I found that I'd earned an average of $426.88 per week since my initial investment in August, even after a few donations to the market. Not sure of any Universities here in NZ (used to be free, now we have to take out huge loans to pay them) or Australia that actually pay you to be educated.

Maybe it was the: 2 strategies, diversification and risk management, that has provided me with a small profit, better education both financially and especially emotionally and the prospects of a great future.

Thanks for sharing your experience on the forum (and others!) as it gives a new comer like me comfort in knowing others are performing on the same stage.

I am having a great time with options spreads. Since joining PW in march my bank is up a little over 50% which is a far better return than I had trading on my own, even during the 'good times'.

Hi Traders, We had a great winning trade on OZL, Call Option. Bought at 10.5 cents on the 24th April & sold at 16.5 cents on the 30th April.

A profit of $3326 (57%) for our 55 contracts. Not too bad for not leaving the house. Wish we had known about this years ago.

Just a quick note to john to say thank you for your diligence in teaching a multitude of technical Skills that I would have never learnt if i wasn't in the trading room.

I have been trading the E-minis for just on 2 Years on and off with the same success (on and Off), Since joining the trading room the consistency in my trading has turned around. ( I have gained more knowledge in the last 2months than what i had done in the last 2 years).

...I couldn't think of a better time to be part of Planet Wealth at the moment. With the market as it is and new stragegy subscriptions, ... I would've thought a hundred bucks a month is a bargain. I'm sure I don't have to tell you about all the resources, contacts, tools & information we have available at our fingertips just within this forum.

I'm actually in a similar situation where we've just bought a converted 40ft motorhome to travel around Oz for a couple of years before our kids start school. We just have to sell the house then we're outta here! Apart from spending some, and hiding some, I'll be putting more money into our trading account to *have it working for me so we don't have to work* (well, at least by choice) on our way around.

I've already had the satellite phone reconnected, checked out wireless around the country, sorted out email contact with my broker, currently checking out new mobile phones for range etc....

I just wanted to mention that through careful application of the strategy and risk management rules taught by planet wealth and following the market as closely as possible after work I have been lucky only to have made one donation since September and also have many successful trades since that time.

Andrew and Bill keep up the good work, it's through both of you (and other P.W members) sharing your trading experiences and knowledge that I have been able to achieve suck good results.

I totally agree with your comments, at the moment i am at work on a saturday and miserable. However, in my mind i know that i am working towards freedom using the magnificent tools made available the by champs here at PW. That is the most important thing to remember. I highly doubt theres ever been anyone on their death bed who said, 'i should have worked more..'

As for any other advice all i can say is use this forum as much as possible - its why you pay for it. Read absolutely everything!!!! It is well worth the time spent.

"After a year live trading experience on buying and selling options at a small overall loss, I came across Planet Wealth. Having read the eBook and purchasing my subscription I entered my first 2 spreads in Dec 2006. I then traded 3 in Jan, 5 in February, 4 in March and April and have 5 open May positions.
