Ratings
We have provided you with some ratings, which can be used (as a guide only) to determine the major characteristics of each of the strategies we trade.
The further the slider is to the left, the lower the value, and the more to the right, the higher the value.
The 4 Rating providers are:
1) Volatility and Risk: Measures how volatile and how much risk is involved in the strategy. Every investment has risk, and you can certainly lose substantial money in even low risk investments, so this is meant as a guide only. The further the slider is to the left, the lower the volatility and risk is in the strategy. The further to the right, the more risk there is. This indicator generally coincides with the potential returns.
2) Minimum $ Required: Each strategy has a minimum recommended amount for AutoTrader, which you can see in each E-Book. Some strategies only work with larger accounts in order to help control risk. The further the indicator is to the left, the smaller the investment can be in the strategy. The further to the right, the more money you need
3) Potential Returns (%): Again, the trade off for less risk is generally lower returns. This gives you an indication of potential percentage returns relative to other strategies. Of course, no returns are guaranteed, and past performance is no indication of future performance. The further the indicator is to the left, the lower the returns have been using this strategy in the past. The further to the right, the higher they have been
4) Average Trade Time: This indicates a guide as to how long each trade lasts for, on average. Some strategies are long term, some short term. The further the indicator is to the left, the shorter the average trades last, and the further right, the longer they last.
Again, these indicators are meant as guides only. For more information on each strategy and the risks involved, please see the individual E-Books.
